CRSSW second annual virtual gathering was designed to equip social workers, faculty members, students, and other members of the social work community with the tools to engage in Critical Race Theory in their pedagogy, research, and practice.

We opened the day with a Keynote Plenary from Dr. Daniel Solorzano, Professor of Social Science and Comparative Education, Chicana/o and Central American Studies, and Director of the Center for Critical Race Studies in Education at the University of California, Los Angeles.

This presentation was followed by presentations and interactive workshops from some of you - our CRT scholars and practitioners.

We closed the day with a community building and joy hour, allowing participants time to network, share, and engage in collective healing.
